In Japan people can get safe drinking water only turn on the tap at home.

As you can see from this graph, carrying water is mainly women and children’s work. Carrying water is not only hard labor but also time-consuming work. So it is hard for women to do housework and other work, and for children to go school.
This makes a hotbed which causes various diseases too.
