When Raw water arrives from Yagiri Intake Plant, it passes through receiving well, chemical sedimentation basins, advance purification treatment facilities (ozone contact basins and granular activated carbon adsorption basins), rapid sand filters. These facilities make raw water to remove suspended solid, offensive taste and odor, etc. This process also includes to adjust pH values and to disinfect purified water.
