ハナショウブ
ハナショウブはノハナショウブの園芸種です。６月ごろに花を咲かせ、花の色は白、桃、紫、青、黄など多数あり、組み合わせを含めると５０００種類あるといわれています。
アヤメ類の総称として、ハナショウブを「アヤメ」と呼称する習慣が多くみられます。その一方で「ショウブ」と呼称することもありますが、菖蒲湯などに使われるショウブは、ショウブ科（古くはサトイモ科）に分類される別種の植物です。
