The oldest house built of reinforced concrete was apartment houses in Furuishida,built by Tokyo city Government in 1923. Apartment houses built by the government sponsored Dojunkai was the same as the apartment houses in Furuita. It was postwar public housing, built of reinforced concrete,which firmly established apartment-living in Japan. The World War Ⅱ changed wooden houses into houses built of reinforced concrete. |
