Okyuto
It is generally said that the word “Okyuto” came from “Okiudo”, which is an udo caught offshore.
Some people say that this dish is called “saver” because this helped many people as emergency food in starvation period.
■Ingredients
Okyuto     10g
Water     200g
Vinegar    1~2 drops



Mizutaki
This dish is tasteful and has a plain taste, which is popular to many people, although it isn’t sure whether it is a traditional chicken food according to Hakataki.
It is said that this dish entered into Japan from Nagasaki, where a foreign ship called, and distributed to Hakata, and then was completed by Hakata people who enjoyed eating.
Mizutaki at Hakata has white and cloudy soup, which is one of the characteristics of this dish.
