This is a vegetarian dish which was cooked on 28th December, when Shaka passed away.
When this dish was eaten by as many people as possible, it was considered to be a good memorial service.
So, a large quantity of this dish was cooked in a large pan and delivered to relatives and acquaintances.
This is now made to warm chilled body on cold days.

Tainotamamushi was absolutely necessary as Sawachi food at happy events.
There was a custom where two steamed breams containing okara were put on a dish, which was called “Niramidai”.
