Shigure rice
Shugure contains chopped clam, baby-necked clam and corbicula.
This dish started to be cooked about 250 years ago and is the local food in Kuwana now.
This is usually boiled with rice or put in rice ball.
■Ingredients
Polished rice     100g
Fortified rice     0.5g
Soy sauce     2g
Shigure of baby-necked clam     10g


Misonurigobo
Misonurigobo is the dish which is provided at a burdock festival on 15th January.
The local people spend a whole day to cook this dish, and offer it to the gods.
Burdocks build up people’s strength and make people energetic, so people cook this dish, wishing family’s prosperity.

Black miso     10g
Chinese pepper     pinch
Sugar     8g
Sake     2g
