Since this area has many rivers and creeks, soft-shelled turtles used to be caught.
Local people called soft-shelled turtle as “Kame” or “Game”, and they cooked this dish using this meat at festivals, etc.
This meat was cut like a turtle shell, and this dish was considered to be a big meal.
