Creatures that react Light
Many insects have a property to act in response to light called
phototaxis.
So, many insects are tempted by light and swarm to the streetlight.
These insects have properties which compel them to go in the direction in which they caan feels the same light in both eyes.
This property is called navigational phototaxis.
Unlike the sun,the light of streetlights can not shine evenly.
So, the balance of light entering both of the insect's eyes ,is uneven and
the insects fly unsteadily around streetlights.

There are insecticide machines, Insecticide lights, Light traps.
They radiate near-ultraviolet ray and attract insects.
The insects dies from the high voltage.
Or they drop on the water which added oil etc. and the machines make them drown. |
