Corundum is a crystallne form of aluminium oxide, often used in ancient jewelry.
It usualy has a hexgonal shape. If it conatins chromium it would become a ruby, and if it conatins iron, it would turn out to be a sapphire.
Corundum is also famous for its hardness and fire resistance. It used for jewelry, abrasive, and heat resistant material.
