Description Amphibole is the general term for tremolite, actinolite, cummingtonite, grunerite, and other monoclinic species.

Amphibole are produced as constituents of igneous rocks, such as Granite, diorite, andesite and others. In recent studies, it is said that there are more than 100 species of amphibole, but needs further study to find out the small differneces of the 100 species.
