Description

Tourmaline is a crystalline boron silicate mineral compounded with elements such as aluminium, iron, magnesium, sodium, lithium, or potassium.
It has the ability to create electricity when pressured or heated. It has different poles on each side of the mineral just like a bar magnet. Tourmalines are gems with an incomparable variety of colours.
Currently, it is referred as the “gemstone of rainbows” because of an old Egyptain legend. Since tourmaline has many colors each colored toumaline has its own name. For example red tourmaline is called rubellite and dark blue tourmaline is called indicolite. |
