Biotite:
Biotite is a common phyllosilicate mineral within the mica group. More generally, it refers to the dark mica series, primarily a solid-solution series between the iron-endmember annite, and the magnesium-endmember phlogopite; more aluminous end-members include siderophyllite.
Muscovite:
Muscovite is a phyllosilicate mineral of aluminium and potassium with formula KAl2(AlSi3O10)(F,OH)2, or (KF)2(Al2O3)3(SiO2)6(H2O). It has a highly perfect basal cleavage yielding remarkably thin lamina (sheets) which are often highly elastic.
Phlogopite:
Phlogopite is a yellow, greenish, or reddish-brown member of the mica family of phyllosilicates. It is also known as magnesium mica. Phlogopite is the magnesium endmember of the biotite solid solution series. Iron substitutes for magnesium in variable amounts leading to the more common biotite with higher iron content. For physical and optical identification, it shares most of the characteristic properties of biotite.
Lepidolite:
Lepidolite is a lilac-gray or rose-colored member of the mica group a secondary source of lithium. It is associated with other lithium-bearing minerals like spodumene in pegmatite bodies. It occurs in granite pegmatites, in some high-temperature quartz veins, greisens and granites
