Japan and Korea are fighting about the territorial rights of Takeshima in the Japanese sea.
Japan calls "Takeshima", but in Korea it is called "Dokdo."
Takeshima is an archipelago located about 37 degrees north latitude and about 131 degrees east longitude with a total area of about 0.2 square kilometers, It is 210 km from Shimane prefecture, 160 km from the Oki Islands and 220 km from Korea.

Syngman Rhee Line
Syngman Rhee Line was established in 1952 by the Korean government on its own in the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea. The Korean government insists on fishing jurisdiction within this line.
