About adrenaline

Adrenaline is called "struggle or escape hormone". It is a hormone that brings its body to excitement and battle condition when a human being fears, strong anxiety, crisis of life, emergency is felt.
There is the action on the body as follows.

  • Contract blood vessels and increase heart function to raise blood pressure
  • Smooth muscles of the bronchi are loose and the airways spread

This effect is effective against anaphylactic shock. However, the adrenaline injection is temporary, as adrenaline injection is weak because of its weak persistence in the body.

Common points and differences with noradrenaline

Adrenaline is a change in noradrenaline. So, there are similarities and differences between the two substances. Both are secreted to defend the body and enter a battle situation.
Adrenaline increases heart rate and increases blood sugar. On the other hand, noradrenaline does not act to raise heart rate like adrenaline. It is mainly adjusting the mental state in the brain.
