Blood test

It is an examination that examine whether you are an allergic constitution by investigating the amount of IgE antibody and eosinophils in the blood by blood collection.
There are two types of exam to examine IgE antibodies.

Specific IgE antibody test

Determine the amount of IgE antibody against a specific allergen. This allows you to identify the allergen substances agent of allergy.

Nonspecific IgE antibody test

Examine the amount of all IgE antibodies. This shows the susceptibility to allergies.

Food oral load test · Oral administration test

Although it is limited only to food, you can identify allergens and examine the degree of symptoms.
However, you should do in a specialized facility such as a hospital because there is a possibility that serious symptoms such as anaphylactic shock may occur and it is very dangerous.
Eat little by little food suspected of allergen, and increase the amount to eat slowly. We observe the reaction and make judgments how much we can eat or can not really eat.

Patch test

It is to investigate whether symptoms of contact dermatitis (rash, the symptom of typeIV) do not appear even if you eat or touch something suspected as an allergen.

It is a similar symptom, but it does not investigate allergens that cause the following symptoms.

  • Urticaria ... This is a symptom of type I.
  • Acne ... It is an illness called "vulnerable plaque" (Shinsai Zosen).

Attach the allergen suspected of having skin symptoms to the patch test unit and apply it to the skin. After 48 hours and 72 hours we judge with the appearance of the skin.
