We tried allergy-conscious foods

In "Examples of social consideration for allergies" dealt with in "To Coexist", We posted that there are allergen-conscious corners at some Ito-Yokado stores.
We dropped at Ito-Yokado Shonandai shop, bought all the allergy-conscious foods that were put on, we divided it with members then I tried it.
However, we tasted some allergy-conscious foods for infants. We excluded gluten-free meals.

Salmon Furikake -Nagatanien

Furikake is dried food sprinkled over rice. The exterior is like this; the table says that 6 major allergens are not included.

On the back, it is written about other allergens. Most part is “-”, which says that is is not included. However, only the plot of salmon was “〇”, which says that it is included. Also, in the shrimp and crab section there was "*", and the notation of contamination alerting was made under the table. From the expression "maltose of this product is not derived from wheat", you can see consideration for making the wheat allergy more reliable.

Impression / consideration

The salty flavor was working and the smell of salmon was transmitted straight and the meal progressed. Because the taste did not differ so much from the general furikake, I thought that there is something that is not sold in places other than the Non allergenic food corner, even if there are things that do not contain major allergens.(High 1・M)

Hayashi rice sauce of ripe tomato - House food

The exterior is like this;

It is written largely on the upper part that specified raw materials 7 items are not included.

On the back side, it is written that only pork, of 27 items of specified raw materials and quasi specified raw materials, is included.

I will introduce what I thought of consideration and concern to people who have allergies. First, it is the receipt which was written on the side of the box. The receipt for people who have egg allergies which are major allergens and many sufferers was written.

Secondly, it says that "This product was manufactured on a dedicated line where specified raw materials 7 items aren't used”. I often see products that have a display of attention of contamination, but it was implicitly written that there is no need to pay attention to such contamination.

The ingredients are like this. In compassion to general Hayashi rice sauce of ripe tomato, which contains allergens from the same manufacturer, It is seen that wheat is substituted for corn starch and rice flour.

As display on the back, I added onion and beef and made Hayashi.

Impression / consideration

I have an impression that sweetness is strong and a mouthfeel has a dry mouth compared with general Hayashi. I thought that it is hard to make dishes without allergens. (High 1・M)

Stew Mix (Cream) -House Foods

Product exterior

7 items are displayed largely together with the word “Specified raw materials 7 items unused series”, so this package was easy to understand. I thought that “Delicious with all the family!” includes the concept “To eat both people who do not have allergies and people who have allergies” rather than “People who have allergies to eat”.

Product ideas

Rice flour was used in place of wheat. Although milk or cream are used at ordinary cream stew, in this product, cornstarch and dried mashed potato are probably used in order to thicken. Also, the recipes other than stew with this product are open in House Food web site and it was available to enjoy meals even if having an allergy.

How to cook

Stir fry the ingredients, boil them in the saucepan, put the stew of the stew and made it easily and quickly. Because it was not a solid roof but a powdery one, it was necessary to dissolve and dissolve little by little, but just by looking at the completed stew it does not change from ordinary stew.

Impression / consideration

When each members in our team buys it was avoided by everyone in our team because this cream stew must not taste good because it doesn’t include milk. However, I tried with our family fearfully and I found it cream stew of no discrimination. I don’t know why it can become so creamy and thick just with water, but I was surprised. I thought it is great that it is not an era when people who have allergies eat different dishes and feel of ashamed, but an era where people can eat non allergenic food that are not different from regular diet. On the back side, it is written that banana, pork, apple, of 27 items of specified raw materials and quasi specified raw materials, is included.

Like the Hayashi rice, it says that "This product was manufactured on a dedicated line where specified raw materials 7 items aren't used”.

I cooked to make curry as usual. It is interesting that it is powdery roux unlike ordinary vermont curry.

It tasted like a curry that comes out with school lunch. Though its taste was a little different from ordinary ones, as written in the package it was “A curry that everyone can eat deliciously”. (High 2・F)

Like a photograph, it is written on the exterior of the table that "6 items of specified raw materials are removed" "perfume coloring is not used" "Chemical seasoning is not used" and "No raw materials related to cattle". Also, on the exterior of the back, it is written the table which says that "pork is included of specified raw materials and quasi specified raw materials" and a notice as "potato is used for processed starch of this product".

Product ideas

As above, it is made to consumers friendly that important information can be seen at a glance and more information can be obtained by looking at the back side. Also, by displaying not only “This ingredient is contained” but also “This ingredient is not contained”, consumers can be put in a mouth with confidence.

Impression / consideration

No matter how much this product’s consideration is excel, it is meaningless if it is not delicious. So, I tried eating it with my 12-year-old sister. As a comment that I first made it, it was as amazing easy as to beat quickly with only 1 minute of hot water. I remember that it took less than 5 minutes in total even though I boiled hot water and boiled it up and served it.
Next, as a comment that I tried eating it, I was first surprised that the taste is nice when I ate it. Although the many limitations of ingredients, it was as good as delicious even if it overcomes general retort curry.
I felt from this product that consideration not only for children who have allergies, which is the main target of products, but also for parents who make their meals. (High 2・T)

It is written largely on the upper part that specified raw materials 7 items are removed. Also, it is written that perfume coloring and food preservative are not used.

On the back side, it is written that specified raw materials and quasi specified raw materials 27 items are not included. Also, ingredients are written.

This is a bottle of the goods. It is smaller than ordinary ketchup size.

I tried it by scrambled egg. The taste of the tomato was darker than ordinary ketchup and it was drenched. It was delicious ketchup that the taste of the material was alive enough that some people might be more delicious than ordinary ketchup. It tends to be thought that it is for infants because it is written “from one year old” on the package, but it was sweet and delicious ketchup that all the family can use. (High 2・F)

This is a comparison with ordinary savoury pancake sause. The left is non allergic, which is smaller than ordinary ones.

I tried it by okonomiyaki. Sweetness is stronger than ordinary ones and preference may be divided.
This product seems to be doing allergen correspondence, coloring, nonuse of preservatives, etc. considering the taste of infants who have finished baby food.
After actually eating with this sauce, after eating with a regular favorite sauce, I felt the taste was deep. With my tongue, I realized that it also considers for the taste of infants. （high 2・F）
