Four mountains called Everest, Lho-tse, Makalu, and Cho-Oyu are mainly over 8000m.
Everest is the mountain of the highest peak with an altitude of about 8800m in the world.
In the Nepal language, it is called "Sagarmatha".
Lho-tse is the altitude of about 8500m.
Makalu is the altitude of about 8500m.
The altitude of Cho-Oyu is about 8200m.
And, an alpine plant and various animals inhabit Sagarmatha National Park.
For example, they are large-sized animals, such as Snow Leopard, Lesser panda, and Selenarctos thibetanus, and rare birds, such as Alpine Accentor.
Many kinds of butterflies also inhabit others.
But, the garbage which the tourist leaves poses a serious problem now.
It was registered in 1979.
