A cause and the present condition

Although the word "biodiversity" began to permeate recently while considering an environmental problem, I think that it is not known to many people yet. Over long years, all the living things on the earth maintain balance, and are useful, and this will say the thing of the system of the ecosystem which does an obstacle to various places, if it collapses.
Even if it stops being also in a microbe small the living thing which made it food is affected and this is happening again to the upper living thing , the food cycle and Ecology pyramid Balance is broken down as it is.
It is said that 40000 sorts are exterminated every year now. Considering having been 1000 sorts 20 years ago and having been one sort 100 years ago, it is clear that animals and plants are being quickly lost by business of man in recent years.
Especially, destruction of the biodiversity by the deforestation is terrible. In a forest, there are various living things' being ,and of course, trees themselves are also kinds of a living thing, and they are performing for other living things to make a living. That the forest is lost by one soccer place per second minutes that many living things in the world have also stopped there being.

Problem

Although many countries have ratified in the Convention on Biological Diversity (refer to following), five nations, "Andorra.", "Negara Brunei Darussalam", "Iraq", "Somalia", and the "United States", have not ratified.

Moreover, since a financial deficit is serious, correspondence of future each country is important for it from now on.
About the deforestation, the export for advanced nations is concerned greatly. (Refer to Deforestation)

Measure

The U.N. Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) was adopted at the Earth Summit performed in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in 1992. The conclusion country meeting is periodically held for the purpose of "protection of a living thing", "continuous use", and "distribution of the profits obtained."

Seventh meeting is held in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia February 9 to 20 2004. This purpose is adopting the resolution about a "protection region." There is a forest currently protected by the present strictness about 1% of the whole. The forest of 80% has already disappeared and a unit of 1% the other 20% every year.

If the measures put in order by 2010 cannot be taken, it is said whether all forests disappear.
