CAST is a drama club that puts on plays. CAST stands for
Communication, Arts, Speech,
Theater. To get into CAST, you have to go to an audition.
Students find something to perform, possibly from a book or a movie.
Auditioners stands in a line on the stage and say their speech one at
a time. Then the directors choose a part in one of the plays that year
for each student.
キャストは、ドラマ・クラブです。 キャスト（ＣＡＳＴ）は、Ｃ （Ｃｏｍｍｕｎｉｃａｔｉｏｎ コミュニケーション）、Ａ （Ａｒｔ 芸術）、Ｓ （Ｓｐｅｅｃｈ スピーチ）、Ｔ （Ｔｈｅａｔｅｒ 演劇） を意味し、ＣＡＳＴという言葉ができています。 参加には適性試験を受けなければなりません。 演じるものを、本や映画からみつけます。 ステージ上で生徒たちが一列に並んで、それぞれのスピーチをします。 どのように行ったかによって、劇の中での役割が決められます。

CAST always has a musical
and a dance play, so they have a dancing and a singing audition. For
the dancing audition, the dance director teaches everyone a dance and
after it's practiced, the director has everyone do it again. He grades
you on effort and how well you did the dance. In the singing, it's almost
the same thing, but instead of a dance, the directors teach you a song.
クラブでは、いつもミュージカルとダンスが行われます。 したがって、ダンスと歌のオーディションがあります。 ダンスのオーディションでは、一人一人が立ち上がって教えられたダンスを踊ります。 努力やいかに上手にダンスを踊るかで、ランクに分けられます。歌もほとんど同じように行われますが、ダンスのかわりに歌が教えられます。
