Band & Orchestra
バンド ＆ オーケストラ| Band is a year long class that all instrumental
music students (except for those who play the strings, or piano) participate
in. It is similar to orchestra. There are three sections to the band;
woodwind, percussion, brass. Each section has different instruments. Brass
consists of the trumpet, baritone, trombone, french horn, euphonium. Woodwind
instruments are, flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone (alto, tenor, baritone).
Percussion instruments are snare drum, bells, base drum, gong, tympani,
and other various percussion instruments. バンドは、楽器を担当する生徒（弦楽器とピアノを除く）が参加する年間を通じてのクラスです。それはオーケストラににています。バンドには、３つのセクションがあります。木管楽器、打楽器、金管楽器です。それぞれのセクションは違った楽器を持っています。金管楽器はトランペット、バリトン、トロンボーン、フレンチホーン、ユーフォニアムで構成されます。木管楽器は、フルート、オーボエ、クラリネット、サクソフォーン（アルト、テナー、バリトン）です。打楽器には、スネア・ドラム、ベル、ベース・ドラム、ゴング、ティンパニー、そして様々なその他のパーカッションの楽器があります。 |

There are five different levels of band. The three highest are 7th and 8th grade bands. The last two are 6th grade bands. In order from the highest: Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Red Band, and Blue Band. ５段階のバンドがあります。３つの高度なものは７年生と８年生のバンドです。２つは６年生のバンドです。高度なところから順に以下の通りです。： ウィンド・アンサンブル、シンフォニック・バンド、コンサート・バンド、レッド・バンド、そしてブルー・バンドです。 |

| Orchestra is a year
long class for students who play string instruments. The different string
inruments are, violin, viola, cello, base. It is almost the same as
band, except they play different music, and there is only one level.
There is one orchestra for 7th and 8th graders, and one level for 6th
graders. |
