音楽

General Music is a class that is offered for 6th grade exploratory. Students learn about the notes on a scale, and the different notes the beats get. Students learn different pieces, and then get to play them on various percussion instruments. Students also work in the piano lab. 　音楽一般は、６年生の予備段階のクラスとしてあります。生徒たちは譜面に音符を書き込んだり、リズムを書き込んだりして学習します。生徒たちはさまざまな楽曲を学習していきます。そして、いろいろな種類の打楽器を演奏するようになります。ピアノ実習室でも学習をすることがあります。
Chorus is a year long class. Students learn songs and sing them in concert. Students can audition for solos. There are different levels of voices they are soprano, alto, base, and baritone. They have concerts in the auditorium where the chorus can sing the pieces they learned for friends, family, teachers and anyone else who wants to hear them. コーラスは年間を通してのクラスです。生徒たちは歌を学習し、コンサートでそれらを歌います。生徒たちはソロのオーディションを受けることができます。それぞれ音程の違う声があります。ソプラノ、アルト、ベース、そしてバリトンです。それまでに学習した合唱を歌うことのできる公会堂でコンサートを開きます。友達、家族、先生方、そして彼らの歌声を聞きたい誰でも聴くことができます。
Piano is a class that may be taken as a trimester class, or as a year long rotation class. In piano, students learn how to read music, and play it on a keyboard. Students learn some background information about composers and they're time period. Once the students can read music, they begin to create their own compositions and play them for the class. ピアノは、楽器でとるクラスと年間でとるクラスとあります。ピアノのクラスでは、どのように譜面を読みとり、鍵盤で弾いていくかを学びます。生徒たちは作曲家や彼らが生きていた時代などその曲の背景を学びます。生徒が曲を読むことができるようになると、彼らは自分たちで作曲し、クラスで発表します。
