Ground-level dwellings are not hollowed out below the ground level of that time. The dimensions and structures are exactly the same as those of pit-dwellings,but no pit was dug;only low earth walls were built around the earth floor areas.People built up a low surrounding wall to create an enclosed space. But hardly any remains of ground-level buildings have beenfound. This is because the earth was not dug out like a pit-dwelling. Like this,pit-dwellings changed into buildings.
