Lateral pass
This is a peculiar pass of the handball. We throw the ball by one hand with a momentary retern of the wrist. As we don't use our shoulder but our arm and a snap of the wrist,we can throw  at once when making up our mind.It is hard to anticipate by the opponent because this pass needs smaller motion than a shoulder pass. Especially,it exercises a power in drawing a defender or in a shortpass. It is good of queuing up sideways by two people.

‡@You have the ball by one hand and pass as you turn the ball below centering on the elbow.

‡AYou release the ball with a snap of the wrist and throw it as you push out with the thumb.

If you properly take follow-throw to the direction which you threw the ball,a control becomes all the better.
