The kappa began to walk with Yuta again towards Grandmother's house.

"Then, where are the Yokai?"
Yuta asked.

"that is very easy; my fellows live here and there."
The kappa answered, looking around.
Yuta was looking around, too.

The day is coming to its close.

"We live in many various places," the Kappa said.

"Various places?"
Yuta has dropped a cucumber.

"Right. Various places.
For example, I live in a river over there. On a mountain of over there, my big sister; Yukionna (a snow fairy), and a white Buddhist priest lives in a field over there"

The kappa picked up the cucumber which Yuta dropped and returned it to his hand.
