In order to keep the world after Shih-huang-ti's death, the model of the
grounds, such as a full-scale soldier, a horse, and a tank, was buried
near the grave. This is called ritual-images-of-warriors-and-horses pit
. the arrangement of an army -- it is buried as it is.

The
ritual-images-of-warriors-and-horses No. 1 pit of 62m, 230m north-south
of east and west is a museum now. The horse, the carriage, etc. were buried
here with about 6000 soldiers. It will be overwhelmed by elaborate structure
as if every person was alive completely. |
