In Osaka Prefecture, “Efforts to Zero Dogs and Cats without Reasons for Killing”Established in March 2018, we are working on reducing the killing of dogs and cats and improving the animal welfare spirit that prevents the containment of dogs and cats. Furthermore, in order to promote animal welfare management facilities, we have newly established an animal abuse consultation phone (animal abuse hotline).   Centralized consultation service through the Animal Abuse Hotline We will endeavor to detect animal abuse at an early stage and provide guidance to owners for improvement. Furthermore, by promoting this initiative, we will encourage citizens to reaffirm that animal abuse is a crime and prevent animal abuse.
