Urban Concept
Stockholm, Sweden's capital, has been committed to mitigating and adapting to climate change since the 1990s. The town has effectively become a world leader in climate change by implementing an action plan for climate change and ensuring that it meets ambitious, environmentally sensitive targets. We have succeeded in reducing per capita carbon dioxide emissions by 25% from 1990 levels.
While Stockholm is growing rapidly, it also faces challenges in how to preserve and develop the town's distinctive features. But most importantly, it's a sustainable city with an attractive and inspiring living and working environment. Climate change equipment, city management, and climate change action monitoring are all part of the climate change action. Their long-term goal is to be fully liberated from fossil fuels by 2040.
In this context, on the Growth Smarter project, Stockholm demonstrated 12 smart solutions in the area of infrastructure and sustainable urban public transport in Arsta.
Influence
The Stockholm demonstration consists of 3 refurbished buildings totaling 36307 square meters.
In the end, the area's energy requirements were reduced by 3333 MWh/year as a result of the renovation. According to the SCIS calculation based on the energy consumption reduction plan and various emissions, the reduction of primary energy can be reduced by up to 4918 MWh/year, and the reduction of carbon dioxide is estimated to be 1187 tons/year.
