Terrarium

What we will learn

  • Here, let's make small nature in a bottle.
  • The soil is put in as the ground. Moss etc. is put in as plants.
  • Let's reproduce the nature of the earth.

Experiment

Preparation thing
・Empty bottle (inside is washed finely and dry)
・Spray (clean water is put in)
・Moss, soil, etc.
Procedure
Into a bottle, the soil is put in and moss is put in after that.
Put in to about 1/3 height of the bottle.
The situation of change
The waterdrop of steam is made in the bottle. It is the same as the earth and the same as signs that the moisture which evaporated serves as waterdrop (rain) and returns to the ground.
The situation of change (bottle 1)
It is the situation five days after installing. Much waterdrop of big steam appears in a bottle. A big change is not seen.
It is the situation one week after installing.
Moss has crawled on a root on the ground.
It is the situation ten days after installing.
A new plant has sprung up.
The plant is growing freshly.
The situation of change (bottle 2)
It is the situation five days after installing.Moss is moist with water.
It is the situation one week after installing.
A new plant has sprung up.
Moss has crawled on a root.
It is the situation ten days after installing.
Moreover, a new plant has sprung up.
The plant is growing freshly.
The present situation
It is the situation six months after installing.
The plant is growing further.
By a left bottle, growth is especially often seen.
Conclusion
While being sealed, it turned out that moisture circulates, work like rain. Moreover, since the seed of various plants was included in the ground, it turned out that new plants grow into nature. Since the bottle is sealed with the lid, even if moisture evaporates, it circulates in a bottle. Since a plant breathes, carbon dioxide is then made. And oxygen is made from carbon dioxide by photosynthesis. Various lives are growing in resources and the environment where our earth was restricted as well as this bottle.
