Formant Frequency

The resonant frequencies of the vocal tract are called formant frequency. Formants are numbered upwards from F1,F2 and so on from the lowest frequency upward. Especially, F1 and F2 are known the most important for vowel identification. This is a voice of the recorded high school students(male).
