Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea
The Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea is the highest institution of the party convened by the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. At the Labor Party Congress, we will adopt the party's basic policy and election of the Central Committee and the Central Inspection Committee, but we have not published much about the exact content.

South-North Joint Statement
It is a document on the inter-Korean dialogue on the Korean Peninsula announced by South Korea and North Korea in 1972. This document contains a peaceful solution for the reunification of the inter-Korean relations.

South-North Joint Declaration
It is an agreement document concluded between South Korea and North Korea as a result of the inter-Korean summit held in 2000. It has reconfirmed the peaceful solution to the reunification of the inter-Korean relations, agreed on the inter-Korean Joint Statement and the South-North Joint Agreement.

As you can see from the history of Korea-Morning relations, there is not much diplomatic involvement between Korea and North Korea. This is because the two countries are in the middle of a ceasefire and it is still in the war. Therefore, both countries still have government agencies aiming for unification of the North and South.

Also, it can be said that the closure of the Kaesong industrial area, which was regarded as a symbol of inter-Korean economic cooperation in February 2016, also indicates a worsening of relations between North and South.
