Bicycle Safety Workshop
As a countermeasure to bicycle accidents, each city regularly holds bicycle safety training seminars.
One member participated in a bicycle safety use seminar held by Chiba City. The place is the lecture room of the public hall, the number of people will be different depending on the venue, but from about 50 people to 80 people I heard from the executives sponsored. In addition, because the workshop was from 20 o'clock on weekdays, I thought that the number of people would be small, but the number of participants was full for 80 people. Actually, I applied for two members, but one person was defeated. As a result of listening to those who participated, apparently it was supposed to be able to acquire the reservation priority of the bicycle parking lot in the neighborhood as a participating award for the workshop, and most people who participated for this purpose were. In other words, people who use bicycle parking can be said to be people with high probability of encountering accidents from everyday use, so I thought that this mechanism that would result in safety training as a result is well thought out.
The seminar was explained about two hours about safe use of the bicycle and bicycle traffic improvement policy that the city is carrying out about one hour. In addition, although this time was voluntary participation, there may be cases where an order to attend is issued to those who repeated the danger violation of the bicycle.
