We experienced hand-on learning of various type of disasters at the Disaster Prevention Center.

We firstly experienced the vibration of the earthquake, which was the same seismic intensity to previous earthquake.

We learned how to defense our body when the earthquake occurred, in the experimental room just like a room in our house attached the seismic device.

We understood that it is very important to keep in mind that the earthquake occurs at any time.

We secondly experienced the wind and rain at the storm, which made by very strong fan, by putting on raincoat and holding the handle. It was just standing under the head wind of typhoon.

We thirdly experienced to use the fire extinguisher. Although the extinguishant was replaced to water, this was very good experience for using the fire extinguisher.

By the hands-on learning of calling to the police and fire station, we understood that it is not so easy to tell exactly.
To tell calmly without panic is very important.

Refuge training from the smoke at fire was performed in the room filled with harmless smoke. We walked to the emergency exit under the low standing posture without breathing the smoke.

We finally learned the heart and lung revival methods by using the special doll and how to use the AED.
It was very practical experience for us because we did not well know the methods.

We could widen the knowledge about the disaster as well as the measures when the disaster happened.
