What is geothermal power generation?

　Geothermal energy is how to generate using high temperature groundwater etc. It is a mechanism in which high pressure vapor is generated because groundwater mainly touches the magma reservoir in a volcanic region, and a turbine turns.

　Merit : By there being few carbon-dioxide emissions, since there are many volcanic regions among Japan, it is the renewable energy which can be used effectively.

　Demerit : A big is Siting problem. Many of volcanic regions which geothermal energy can use are specified as the nature park specified by countries, such as a national park and a quasi-national park.
Moreover,geothermal power generation use underground water warmed the ground(so hot spring). So such as rebound of hot spring operators will also be listed in reason.
