The Varieties of Guppies

There are many kinds of guppies, aren't there?

Yes. Each kind of guppy was named by the characteristic of the guppy. I will explain.

Body color

Gray A guppy's basic body color is gray. It is more common than other colors because that is the dominant color of the guppy.	Golden This is like the color of butter, tinged with yellow. These guppies have more melanin than albino, in the iris of the eye.	Tiger Melanocyte is concentrated in the edge of the scales so, the design looks generally halftone.
Blau This type is bluish black. It has only black melanocyte. It does not have any blue pigment.	Albino This type has few melanocyte. Judging from which angle, there are two kinds, one with red eyes and one that have an eye color that looks black at an angle. A rial red-eye albino has grape colored eyes, and the red eyes acutually look black.

Form of the tail fin

Delta tail It is a triangle shape and is popular in many guppies.	Fan tail This tail gets its name from the shape of an opened fan. The corner is more round than a delta tail and is very beautiful.	Round tail It is generally round. There are various sizes of this tail, from small to big. The wild guppies have this tail, too.
Ribbon It is a long ribbon fin near the tail. It is similar to the tail of a swallow. The males that have this are not very fertile.	Sord tail According to the name SORD, this tail grows to look like a sword for a long time. The upper part is called the top sord, the lower part the bottom sord.	Dumbo This is a new type which has been recently discovered. The chest bire was greatly like "Dumbo", which is how this name came about.

Pattern of tail fin

Solid This tail fin does not contain a design, and it is a monochrome color. They either are red, blue, yellow, neon or black.	Maruti This is a polychromatic tail fin. Most guppies have this pattern. The color is black or dark blue is seen in the origin of the fin.	Mosaic This tail fin takes its origin from the name having many different patterns.
Glass It features a turf design and a translucent tail fin.	Leopard This tail fin has black spots on the yellow part of the fin.	Cobra This fin looks like a cobra which is a poisonous snake. Many similarities to a cobra body are often found on there guppies.
