World Health Organization (WHO)


WHO is the specialized agency of the United Nations and established on April 7, 1948 by the world health charter which the international health meeting held in New York in 1946 adopted.

Purpose

The highest healthy level in which all people are possible is reached (the 1st article of world health charter).

Activity

- They are political support, implementation of technical cooperation, assistance, etc. about hygiene.
- Extermination of an infectious disease or an endemic disease
- The treaty about international health, an agreement, the proposal of a rule, advice, research promotion.
- A setup of the international standard about food, a living thing tablet, medical supplies, etc.
- New and revival infection Measure.
