A rocket is indispensable for going to space. However, rockets need a lot of fuel to resist gravitational pull. It is said that 90% of the weight of a rocket is fuel.
On this page, I will post what kind of features the rocket has in order to solve the problem.
Since it would be exhausting to introduce all types of rockets, this page will post research results on the new "H3 rocket" among rockets.
・H3 rocket
There are two types of rockets, solid fuel and liquid fuel, and this new rocket runs the engine on liquid fuel.
With a total length of 63m and a diameter of 5.2m, it is relatively large compared to conventional rockets, and its launch capacity is 6.5t~, which is superior to other rockets.
It is scheduled to be launched in 2020 fiscal year, and there are many expectations.
* The third from the right in the photo below is the H3 rocket.
The H3 rocket is made up of a two-stage engine, and after flying in the sky with the first engine, the engine is thrown away and the second engine is started. This gives you a lot of power.
The picture below shows the full size of the engine and what part of the rocket it is on.
I actually went to the Tsukuba Space Center to see the real thing and was very surprised at its size.
If you are interested, why don't you visit there? I think that you can learn about the evolutionary process of rockets and become more interested in space.
