Birthplace France   /Came to Japan when she was junior high school student and went to Foreign School
Q
What kind of school life were you having? What were the difficult things in your school life?

A
About fashion, my school wasn’t strict so it's easy to show your own individuality. (You can dye your hair, You can wear any clothes which you want, but there were few things which weren't fair. For example, boys are allowed to wear short pants but girls who are grown up (earlier than others) or who are not skinny are not allowed to wear short pants. In Japan, there are uniforms so it was strange from other people weren't wearing uniforms. I couldn't be well experienced with Japanese culture. I was able to speak Japanese, so I was involved outside the school, but I didn't have much opportunity to speak Japanese inside my school. It was totally the same school life which I was spending in France so there was almost no difficulty.

I think there is no advantage than going to Foreign School. You are able to spending time in Japan as a local school of your home country. Of course, if you want to challenge yourself in a new environment, it's a different story, but I think it's a good opportunity to spend your time in your own way without any language obstacles!
