Q2. How many products do your company currently provide with MSC certification?

Kinds: product of tuna and bonito

Number of MSC certified products: 4
- 2 bonito products for consumer
- 1 bonito product for business
- 1 tuna product for business

No MSC certified tuna produdt for cunsumer in current.
The first MSC certified bonito product (bonito) just released this Autumn (2022), and we will consider commercializing tuna products based on customer response to that.

Q3. What has been the consumer response to your company's efforts to protect marine resources and MSC certified products?

Our first MSC certified bonito product for consumer have just released this Autumn (2022), and we are looking forward to customer response.

Q4. What is difficult points for your company to do challenges to marine resources protection or MSC-certified products?

MSC-certified raw materials are one of the methods based on marine resource protection, but in order to be sold as a certified product, the product must be controlled until it is commercialized without being mixed with raw materials caught by other methods in the manufacturing process. In addition, all of the world's skipjack and tuna stocks are covered by five regional fisheries management organizations by region or fish type. This means that the production process can be difficult, as the amount of fish caught is restricted and the impact on fish prices is reflected in the price of the fish.

Q5. What are your future prospects and challenges regarding sustainable products?

We will continue our efforts to use 100% of our food ingredients. We will also expand sales of products made from fish obtained by the one-line fishing method and MSC certified products, while conducting educational activities to gain the understanding of consumers.
We will continue to provide products that incorporate customer requirements and are as environmentally friendly as possible.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.
We believe that completely using up one tuna obtained as Use 100% of ingredients (use up all)is an important attempt to protect limited resources.
