Summary "SDGs seen from ramen"

Through this activity, we were able to deepen our understanding of ramen, and through that, we were able to deepen our understanding of the SDGs.

Ramen can be tailored to each consumer's taste by choosing toppings and soups and choosing their favorite flavor. In addition, it is popular because everyone from children to the elderly can go to the store without hesitation. Even when I couldn't go out due to the corona virus, I was able to enjoy it at home in the form of cup ramen and delivery (frozen).
Ramen, which has become so popular that it is said to be a national dish, can be eaten deliciously in such a way, and I found that it was established by the ingenuity and efforts of the shop.
In addition, after learning about the company's efforts, I learned that nutritional aspects, which I had been concerned about being unhealthy, were also taken into consideration. I think it's a sustainable and healthy diet. Physical aspect = combination of nutrients that make up the body, mental aspect = supporting the development of a “delicious” mind that satisfies appetite and taste, social and cultural aspect = food and communication, environmental aspect = consideration for the global environment, these constituent factors I was able to know the connection to the SDGs against

Nowadays, there are many shops not only in Japan but also overseas, and the national dish ramen has become more familiar to us. From ramen that has become familiar, we think that we should tackle health and environmental issues (SDGs activities) as something more familiar. I believe that food is a medium that connects our health and the health of the earth. Food can be a starting point from which we can tackle some of the world's most pressing problems with a shared understanding.
Also, now that you can eat various meals as a matter of course. We eat for everyone. We feed ourselves, our families, our communities, now and in the future.
There are many things to think about, such as global abnormal weather and loss of biodiversity. The companies surveyed here are working to improve this situation.
People cannot live without "eating". Ramen is a beloved food in Japan. It is precisely because of such beloved meals that we can continue to "eat" and still feel "happy to be able to eat." I think that the SDGs connected to ramen continue to evolve by connecting our food to our own health and the health of the earth. I am grateful that the ramen that enriches our meals continues to evolve.

Finally

Created a website about "SDGs as seen from ramen" that started when I wanted to drink all the ingenious ramen soup without worrying about health. We learned a lot from Mr. Marugen, Mr. Masumoto, Mr. Mendoka, and Mr. Nissin. Thank you very much.

Looking at our website, I thought I knew about SDGs,
I would be happy if it became an opportunity to like ramen more.

Thank you for taking the time to view our site.
I would be happy if you think, "I want to eat ramen again!"
