In what month or season does it rain most often in your country?
The rainy season is from July to December. Among these, September has the most rainfall.
Have you ever suffered from any damage caused by heavy rainfall?
Yes.
What kind of damage did it cause?
About two weeks ago, the area was damaged by heavy rains caused by a typhoon. The typhoon damaged the roof of our house and many of us are currently repairing it.
Do such heavy rains occur frequently in your country?
Yes, it is. But it is not every year that we are hit by a typhoon. I think rainfall has become more frequent recently, partly due to global warming.
Do you take any measures to reduce damage caused by heavy rainfall?
As I mentioned earlier, typhoons can destroy the roof of a house, for example, so we made sure to build the house with sturdy materials.
