Have you ever suffered from any damage caused by heavy rainfall?
Yes.
What kind of damage did it cause?
Flooding happens often. I used to live near a river and our house was always flooded when it rained heavily. After the flooding, the house becomes dirty and I have to clean it up. Flooded water is very dirty and smelly. There are many bacteria and insects in the water.
Do such heavy rains occur frequently in your country?
Yes, I think the rain has been getting worse for several years. It used to stop raining within an hour or two, but recently it has been raining all day long.
Do you take any measures to reduce damage caused by heavy rainfall?
As I said before, when it rains, my house floods, so I try to put my luggage and other things on the ground on top of it before, when it rains.
