The eleventh goals are ”Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts”

In five targets,

13.1 "Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related hazards and natural disasters in all countries"

are relevant.

One of the reasons for the recent increase in heavy rainfall disasters is the abnormal weather and climate change caused by "global warming". In order to prevent climate change caused by global warming, it is essential to reduce CO₂ emissions. Here, we introduce measures we can take to reduce CO2 emissions and prevent global warming.

• Turn off main power and unplug appliances that are not in use
• Turn off unnecessary heating, cooling, and lighting
• Do not leave the TV on
• Stay in the same room as the family as much as possible to save electricity
• Use curtains to block out light or otherwise reduce the use of air conditioning
• Switch to appliances that consume less power
• Switch to gas or oil

Decreasing electricity consumption leads to a reduction in CO₂ emissions.To save electricity, it is important to be aware of this in our daily lives, but we can also reduce consumption by switching the appliances we normally use and the energy we use.

• Bring my own chopsticks and bottle
• Purchase refillable products
• Buy paper straws and paper bags

Burning plastic materials emits a large amount of CO₂,so it is important to try to reduce waste as much as possible to prevent CO₂ emissions.

• Use of bicycles, buses, and trains
• Use of Eco-Cars

Cars emit a lot of CO2.Therefore, it is preferable to use public transportation such as buses and trains, which can transport many people at once, or bicycles, which emit no CO2. If you often use a car, you should consider electric cars, which emit no CO2.
