It is said that fire is the most terrible secondary disaster.
So when a earthquake comes, even if it is small one, try to make you put out of the fire necessarily.

Electronics, electrical wiring, and some equipment which uses gas and oil as its fuel make fire mainly.

In rare cases, if some fires become bigger, a strong FIRESTORM, whirlwind with fire, occurs due to a local updraft.
At the 1923 Great Kanto earthquake, this firestorm occurred and wreaked havoc.

In some cases, it becomes scarier than earthquake.
