The strong earthquake can cause cracks.

Usually, cracks are irregular fissure and they are caused on rising ground or soft grounds like reclaimed lands, banking and so on. If they are caused in mountains, it brings about falling rocks, landsides and so on.

In television disaster prevention programs, the scenes of big cracks on the road and terrible landslides enough to make mountain’s shape disappear are seen.
