The relationship between mimicry and the theory of evolution

In the process of life evolution , we can say mimicry is one of the causes that has changed our species. Considering this aspect , it can be said that mimicry is related to the theory of evolution.
We can demonstrate the relationship between mimicry and the theory of evolution by taking the case of butterflies. Most of the butterflies , which act during the day , have bright colors and conspicuous spots on their wings. It is true that this is useful in communicating with the same or different species , however it is also said that they give some signals to predators.
Those signals are at one time regarded as a warning color and at another time used as camouflage. Concerning the action of butterflies in daytime , there can also be the danger of being found by predatory birds. To avoid the bird’s sight , most of the butterflies raise their wings and show the reverse side when they settle down completely.

Example

This is regarded as an adaptive result to avoid birds’ attack. If they should be attacked , they could escape from birds , startle them by showing the front side of their wings so that they could escape while the birds were flinching. When they move somewhere , they escape from the attack from others by flying slowly to and fro. Butterflies which have poisonous bodies , or bodies that are inedible tell them that they have poison and a bad taste by flying in such a way.
In addition , some birds have a “fake head” , which is designed like eyes. They can escape a mortal wound by getting birds to eat that part.

It can be said that some animals evolve their bodies by mimicry as these birds adapt their body to their surroundings. This is , so to speak , the example of Batesian mimicry. However , this is also practicable for Peckham mimicry ; Hymenopus coronatus , in which their bodies have changed their bodies to appear like flowers. Therefore , we can say creatures which mimic things surrounding them are deeply related to the theory of evolution.
