What is vertical infection

Infecting babies with pathogens from my mother.

When vertical infection occurs

Intrauterine infection ... If the mother is infected, infect the baby through the placenta.
Birth canal infection ... Infects from baby's mucous membrane from birth canal at birth.

Pathogen

Here we deal with an example of a pathogen (virus, bacteria, fungus) infected by vertical infection (mother-to-child transmission).

B19 Viral infection

Also called apple disease, butterfly wing-like erythema appears in the cheek.
