For Kids

     It is an easy job only to memorize. Compared to memorizing, teaching requires us to comprehend. I propose that students should make textbooks by themselves.
     Students can tell where to learn more, can look deep into the subject, select informations, and leave their study for theri juniors. It is applicable for all the subjects; social study, science, health, art, technique, home making, and synthetic study. It's for more than 4th grade students.
     First of all, finish studying with textbook as usual.
     Second, if it is for 8th greaders, divide the 7th grade's textbooks into 4 to 10 parts. Then, students select which part to work with. It can be a group work or a individual work, according to student's ability. They can learn to cooporate and assign by working with groups. They can learn what the responsibility and attainment is.
     Third, each invest their part by browsing internet or reading books. It would be better to make them to add reference books. If teachers have enough time, they can use logs and invest how they searched for, and compare the way before they study the way to seek for information and after. 
     Fourth, making textbooks. A student who can draw well might be able to draw cartoons. If they make HTML, students can easily access, it'll be a great heritage for juniors. 
     Finally, students teach students with their textbooks (we call them stucher).
     If they are about Japanese or music, they can collect stories or songs which they like and add appreciation notes. Mathmatics, add where they were at a loss, reason, and how to solve to the ordinary textbook. PE, teach how to become good player of a sport which they are good at. Calligraphy, write their favorite sayings or poetory or short poetory. Art, collect the pictures which they like...etc They can become fond of the subject because they can learn more about what they are interested in. 
     They can understand how to select informations in the process. They can be good at the subject because they can't write any sentences without the knowlege about the subject. They can even enjoy, because their friend teaches them. Their descendants can read them; from the current paper test, offsprings can only know how nonsense the system was. They can express well, because they write down with their words. 
     In AO entrance examination, the ability of expresson is very important. They can see themselves by their OWN textbooks.
