For the nutrition necessary for prolonging the life, 14 kinds of sugars were collected and a research experiment was conducted. After that, four sugars (oligosaccharide, granulated sugar, white sugar, and trisaccharide) were added as nutrients for the flowers and observed. As a result, the liquid with granulated sugar lasted the longest. We believe that there are the following factors. It is a Glycemic Index . The Glycemic Index is a value that expresses the ease of sugar absorption with glucose as 100. Granulated sugar is 110, fine sugar is 109, and sweet brown sugar is 108. The last three were found to have high Glycemic Index . I thought it would be interesting to find out more with reference to the Glycemic Index. Also, this time we prepared the conditions for sterilization with carbonic acid, The next time I want to find out more about sterilization.

The conclusion in this experiment was to add granulated sugar .

T.U: The xylitol I expected died early. In Experiment 1, the life of A with carbonated was relatively longer than that of B without carbonation. This indicates that carbonic acid is effective in prolonging the life of flowers. In Experiment 2, granulated sugar remained until the end. This makes granulated sugar the best flower potion, but in practice, let's not only rely on this but prolong the life of important flowers.
H.I: In this experiment, the “condensed milk” that I expected has come off. The most prolongable part is granulated sugar, so I think the difference is probably “easiness to dissolve in water”. Granulated sugar is easy to dissolve in water, while condensed milk has a tendency to melt, making it difficult to dissolve in water. This difference may have led to a difference in life extension. If you do the following, if you add carbonated water little by little every day, the carbonate will not run out and the probability of mold growing will decrease.

(unfortunately unexpected) In this experiment, the type of flower was gerbera, but I would like to investigate what happens if I experiment with other flowers.
