About a non-contact ic card
The card in which the integrated circuit (ic) for doing record and operation of information is incorporated. Information can be transmitted, without touching a card directly.
Wireless electric supply is used also for this.
For exampl,"Suica", "PASMO", etc.
Structure of a non-contact ic card
The coil-type antenna is embedded on ic card. When there is this, it makes it possible to receive the electric wave which the external terminal is sending by non-contact.
The terminal called a reader writer is built into the external terminal.
A reader writer emits a magnetic field.
When bringing ic card close, the magnetic field of the coil inside a card changes in response to the magnetic field, and current occurs.
That is, the electric power for moving ic is supplied from a reader writer by the electric power and the electric wave which occurred by electromagnetic induction.
